JIM GUNDELACH, MBA, CPC
I have been involved in dentistry most of my life. It all started with my enlistment in the U.S. Navy in 1966. I was a dental technician (in the Navy this is a dental assistant/dental hygienist). In 1970 I was honorably discharged and joined the SS White dental supply company, then started a crown and bridge dental laboratory being one of the first to obtain the newly established CDT (certified dental technician) rating.
Later I received a teaching credential from UCLA and supervised the dental technology department of Southern California College while updating the curriculum.
In 1984 I started Gundelach and Associates, a practice management consulting firm. Two years later my wife Susan joined the firm and we have been helping dental practices meet their goals ever since. We take a hands-on personal commitment to the success of each practice and have a variety of programs and services available to our clients.

SUSAN GUNDELACH, MBA
I have served in the field of dentistry since 1974. My formal training included an MBA UAR from Hawaii, a BSBA UAR from Hawaii, AA from Cerritos College and many business and dental postgraduate hours. I have both clinical and business experience in private practice. I functioned as office manager in both general and specialty practices. Other experience includes teaching and lecturing on dental assisting at Southern California College, training dental offices in the use of dental computers and consulting with private practices throughout California since 1989.
